Have you seen this viral smore cookie? Its basically a regular cookie but with a smore inside! Well when my daughter had a sleep over, I thought it would be a fun thing to try!

The regular recipe calls for premade cookie dough from the store, but I thought we can make our own instead minus all the unnecessary additives ;)

We mixed the following into a bowl: 1 cup melted butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 2 teaspoons hot water, ½ teaspoon salt, 3 cups all-purpose flour, 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips.

I mixed all the ingredients until they came together and I could roll them into balls.

Then I placed 1/2 of the gram crackers on a baking sheet.

I was able to fit about 9. Add a marshmallow on top. I only had giant ones, so I cut them in half.

I couldn't decide if we really needed chocolate chips since they were already in the cookie dough, so I let the girls add a few (didn't seem to make a difference either way).

Then you want to mush the ball of cookie dough on top.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

You know you did it right when the marshmallow is all gooey in the middle and the gram cracker is in the middle of the cookie on the back.
