PROTEIN BLONDIES 💪🍴 The past year I've been really into HIIT workouts & weight lifting. I get bored of protein powder smoothies so I try to come up with different alternatives. Plus, I have a huge sweet tooth & rarely buy processed sweets. After intense exercise, our body needs a combination of protein and carbohydrates to help restore muscle and gain strength. These blondies are a huge hit, I make them for all sorts of events and I have never heard a negative review about them. People are always surprised when they find out the ingredients!

Chocolate Chip Protein Blondies
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 mashed bananas
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1 cup oat flour
- 2 scoops Vital Proteins (optional)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the eggs, melted coconut oil, honey, mashed bananas, and tahini.
- Once wet ingredients in step 2 are mixed thoroughly, add in the oat flour, baking powder, salt, Vital Proteins unflavored powder, and chocolate chips.
- Mix thoroughly and then pour into a baking pan. Bake in oven for 25 minutes.
Tips
- Each square ends up being 10 gm protein.
- If you don't have Vital Proteins protein powder, the recipe is about 8 gm protein per square.
