I would chop a small onion, celery, and parsley add tuna (in water not oil) and mix these well with mayonnaise and serve on whole wheat bread with a slice of tomato and a leaf of lettuce...

I use those tender little celery, leaves instead of,parsley. And a great sandwich is sliced cuke, baby spinach leaves , tuna salad & a tiny drizzle Italian dressing on a toasted roll with melty Swiss or mozzarella!

I have been making this salad for years. It is delicious and filling and my kids always loved it. I do add a touch of fresh lemon juice. It keeps the apple from darkening.
