A Simple, Stress-Free DessertHow many times have you felt frustrated while preparing dessert?

Some recipes are complicated.

They contain dozens of ingredients and instructions that aren’t always easy to follow.

While it’s normal to feel frustrated over that, you won’t have to worry about dealing with that stress when you make this 3 Ingredient Chocolate Cake.

So, if you’re having a craving for something moist, delicious, and sweet, try this easy chocolate cake recipe.

It’s foolproof and definitely worthy of joining these chocolate cake recipes, in the ranks.

How Can You Make a Cake With Only Three Ingredients?

It might sound impossible to make a delicious dessert using only three ingredients, but you’ll quickly learn that you can do it with ease.

If you combine the right ingredients, such as chocolate chips, butter, and salt, you’ll quickly prepare a quick chocolate dessert that you can prepare in the microwave.

Or as in this recipe- chocolate cookies (I used chocolate Teddy Grahams), milk, and baking powder!

Special Toppings You Can Add to Customize Your Chocolate Cake

Once you’ve prepared this simple, tasty dessert, you can eat it or serve it while it’s still warm.

You can always add a few special toppings to the cake to customize it.

Powdered sugar goes great on top of the cake.

You can add hot caramel syrup with chopped nuts or slices of fresh fruit, such as bananas and strawberries.

If you’d like to add a glaze to your cake, combine powdered sugar with milk and drizzle it over the cake while it’s still warm.

No matter what you decide to add to the decadent 3 Ingredient Chocolate Cake, you can expect to enjoy this simple treat.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE CAKE

For this particular recipe, you will need a food processor or a blender

If you don’t own either and would prefer not to buy one, go the old-fashioned route with a Ziploc bag and a mini hammer, to pound the cookies into crumbs.

You will also need a square baking pan, a donut mold

or a disposable cake pan

, to bake your cake in.

You can also serve the cake minus the cream cheese frosting, hot out of the oven, with a dollop of homemade vanilla ice cream.

Mmmm!

Tips
  • Suppose you plan to make a frosting. Use my best cream cheese frosting recipe. Or make a simple frosting/glaze with powdered sugar and milk. Remember to ensure the frosting/glaze is thick.
  • Finish this off generously with sprinkles on top!
  • Tip: After the cake is baked and if you plan to frost it, place in the freezer for 30-45 min before icing the cake so that crumbs don't fall off the cake as much.Add Sprinkle

I hate to sound ignorant, but what kind of chocolate cookies. I’m sure it’s not Oreos, but I’m having a hard time thinking of a chocolate cookie for this recipe.
