  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper adjust to your spice preference

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs or flour
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce I LOVE Frank's Red Hot!
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Blue Cheese dressing and celery sticks for serving
Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for about 5 minutes.
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Shake off any excess flour.
Next, dip the chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
In a separate bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs. Press each chicken breast into the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are fully coated on all sides.
Optional, Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Place the breaded chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
Air fry the chicken breasts at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they are golden brown and crispy. To ensure they are fully cooked, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature, which should reach 165 degrees F (75 degrees C).
While the chicken is cooking, prepare the buffalo sauce by combining the hot sauce and melted butter in a medium bowl. Adjust the ratio of hot sauce to butter according to your desired spice level.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes.
