Pumpkin Pie hummus is a delicious dessert hummus that tastes just like pumpkin pie without the crust. You can make it in minutes with only six ingredients.

Leftover pumpkin pie hummus will last in your refrigerator for up to 5 days and it can be frozen for up to three months. Defrost frozen hummus in the refrigerator overnight.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup water to adjust consistency
Instructions

Place the chickpeas, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla into a food processor bowl and blend into a paste.
Gradually add water with the tube running to adjust the consistency.

    This is great. It was so popular that I upgraded it to using full can of chick peas and full can of pumpkin and adjusted the spices. Served it individually as 2 table spoons in a condiment dish with half an apple sliced. Perfect portion nutritionally but the kids wanted more. lt kept well in fridge overnight but I had to hide it in the back.
