Dare I say that this is the adult’s version of bark candy? Of course, anyone can eat this delicious treat, and it looks fabulous on any dessert table.

Pistachio Pomegranate Bark Ingredients

Here’s what you need to make this recipe. The measurements are in the recipe card below.


  • Meltable dark chocolate
  • Pomegranate arils
  • Shelled pistachio nuts


Chocolate Pistachio Bark Directions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.

In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals until it is smooth.

Another option for melting the chocolate is to use a double boiler.

Pour the melted chocolate on to the prepared baking sheet and smooth it out with a spatula.

Sprinkle the pomegranate arils and pistachios on top of the chocolate and gently press them down to make sure they stick into the chocolate.

Place the baking sheet into the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

Remove the tray from the refrigerator and break the bark candy into pieces.

Break into 8-10 pieces. Of course, the size of the pieces is up to you, but the nutrition facts here are calculated for 10 servings. Adjust as needed if that matters to you.

No, feel free to replace the pistachios with your favorite type of nut or remove the nuts completely.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces dark chocolate (melting wafers, bark, or chocolate chips)
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils (about 1 large pomegranate or 2 small pomegranates)
  • ½ cup pistachio nuts, shelled
Instructions

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium-sized microwave safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals until it is smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate on top of the prepared baking tray and smooth it out.
Drop the pomegranate arils and pistachio nuts on top of the chocolate and gently press down to ensure they are “stuck”.
Place the baking tray in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Remove the baking tray from the refrigerator and break the bark into pieces.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
