Start your day with this refreshing Kale-cantaloupe-Ginger Smoothie that is wonderfully satisfying and contains tons of nourishment. Frozen cantaloupe adds a beautiful creamy texture and sweetness to the smoothie and ginger undertone adds a refreshing and balancing touch to this smoothie.

I always have frozen cantaloupe in the freezer. Just wash and cut the cantaloupe into small chunks and place them on a parchment paper lined tray and freeze. Once the cantaloupe chunks turn hard, Store them in a zip lock bag and enjoy this delicious smoothie all year long.

Kale is a super-food , which is high in fiber and low in fat and contains essential vitamins and antioxidants. If kale is too bitter for your liking , you can substitute spinach without a problem.Either way this smoothie turns out delicious.

Instead of cantaloupe you can either use frozen banana to give this smoothie a creamy texture and to add the sweetness or you can use both like I did.

Hope you guys enjoy this tasty ,fruity way to add some healthy green veggies in your diet.
