I love recipes like this that take a pantry ingredient and elevate it. Just a handful ingredients make these bar nuts hard to put down. Another great holiday recipe or anytime you are making a charcuterie board. I love to give them as gifts too. I put them in a pretty bowl, wrap it up with cellophane and tie a pretty bow. Much more personal than a bottle of wine.
This is a wonderful addition to any charcuterie board you are making. This "Date Night" board was assembled for two people. This would be great if you were hosting a socially distancing cocktail hour. Make one for each family and entertain safely.

INGREDIENTS
- 2/3 cup unsalted mixed nuts
- 1 teaspoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon coarsely chopped fresh rosemary
- Rounded 1/4 tablespoon dark brown sugar or granulated sugar
- Pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, toss nuts with butter, rosemary, sugar, cayenne and salt. Spread the mixture on a rimmed baking sheet, in a single layer.
- Bake until golden, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Serve the nuts warm or at room temperature.
Tips
- If rosemary isn’t your thing, you can use other herbs like thyme or “everything but the bagel”.
- You can make a batch of these nuts and store them for another event. Allow them to cool completely before placing in an airtight container. Nuts will stay fresh for about a month.
