Recipe for Easy Pie Crust

Since the nights are getting cooler and Fall seems to be in the air. It is officially time to make some pies. At least that is what it means at our house.

Today I am sharing the easiest pie crust recipe I have found. I use my neighbor’s wonderful homemade butter which makes it so flaky. I have used this recipe for years. It took me forever to find one that worked for me. For some reason much to my moms dismay I just could not do a good job with her recipe. I ran across this one in an old cookbook several years ago. And I have not tried another since.

You can find another good recipe below.

Lemon Bars

For this recipe you basically just mix everything in your food processor or a bowl with a fork. The original recipe called for it to be mixed in a tupperware bowl and it said to just shake it. That did not work for me. I use either of the above and both work great!

Ready for the freezer

Now I will put them in the freezer until the day I want to use them. It only takes a couple of hours to dethaw. Usually the first part of November I will make up several crusts and get them in the freezer for my holiday baking.
