Did you know that you can make delicious air fryer donuts with biscuits for Christmas or anytime? Here’s how to do it!

Do you have a favorite breakfast that you make for Christmas morning? I admit, we are so excited when we wake up for the presents, we often don’t eat breakfast until late. We haven’t found a holiday favorite breakfast for our family yet, but this new recipe we’re sharing today just might be it!

I admit I’m one of the weirdos that discovered air fryers during the pandemic. Eating at home more has had our family experimenting with new ways to make some of our family favorites. One of the treats we learned to make at home was donuts. My mom used to make donuts with tube biscuits when I was little in her deep fryer, but air fryers offer a healthier and less messy alternative to make this popular treat.

Christmas Air Fryer Donuts With Biscuits

To make these donuts, you’ll need a can of biscuits, butter flavored cooking spray, frosting and sprinkles. You’ll also want to preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees.

Remove the biscuits from the tube and place them on a plate or cutting board. Using a small glass (like shot glass) or a cookie cutter, cut a circle out of the centers of the biscuits. Save the portions you cut out since they make fantastic donut holes.

Lightly spray the biscuits with butter flavored cooking spray. Cook for 4-6 minutes or until the biscuits have browned.

Once your donuts are golden brown, carefully remove and place on a cooling rack. Once they are cool enough, generously coat each donut with frosting.

After your air fryer donuts with biscuits and donut holes are frosted, sprinkle with festive sprinkles for Christmas or whatever holiday or occasion you desire. Serve the leftovers (if you have any!) in container with a lid.
