Iced Caramel Latte

This is a recipe my daughter came up with and I absolutely love it. I do not always use the two teaspoons of the instant coffee as it does contain a lot of caffeine but if I make first thing in the morning I do to get me going for the day. First you mix your brown sugar and instant coffee together with some water. Then I use my frother to get it foamy. You can use a wire whisk or hand held frother they would work just as well. Add ice to your glass I add it about three quaters of the way up the glass. Add your choice of heavy cream, half and half or milk, I use milk. I also add some caramel coffee syrup at this time just a pump or two.. Add in the coffee mixture I add the milk about three quarter of the way up also. Here is where you can get fancy, you can add some whipped cream with caramel sauce. Or just add the caramel sauce into the glass and stir.

Here is the brown sugar and instant coffee.

Add i the mild to the ice in the glass.

Add in the coffee mixture on top.

Add in the syrup or whatever you like.

For the iced coffee
  • 1/2 c ice
  • 1/2 c milk or cream
  • 2 pumps coffee syrup flavor of your choice
  • 2 t instant coffee grounds
  • 2 t brown sugar
  • Caramel syrup
  • 1/4 c water
For the iced coffee
Add coffee and brown sugar to the frother
Add water and froth
Add ice to glass
Add in milk or cream
Add two pumps of the caramel coffee syrup
Add the coffee mixture
Add caramel syrup
