Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte

One of my absolute favorite things to have in the morning before I start my day is a vanilla iced matcha latte. I am definitely not a coffee person and would much rather have ant other type of teas. Matcha is a super healthy alternative that I find very enjoyable especially when made right. I love throwing in add-ins such as vanilla, maple syrup, and sometimes even brown sugar to make it tasty! It's light, creamy and incredibly easy to make. I love making a homemade version as its a lot cheaper than getting it from outside. Here's a recipe of my go-to, everyday matcha latte:

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp matcha
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 3 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup ice


Boil water.
Add water into each cup, and add matcha. Stir in. Add in maple syrup, vanilla and granulated sugar. Stir to combine. Add ice, pour in milk and serve cold.
