Have you been craving the infamous American food chain known for its addictive secret menu items, namely the delicious "animal style" fries and burgers? Look no further! Now you can remake these burgers and fries at home with your own secret sauce and be the talk of the town. This spread is perfect for your next barbeque and so easy to scale up as needed! You can even make the mayonnaise and pickles from scratch for a (slightly) healthier version. Start dressing up your burgers or steaks with this dressing/spread similar to Thousand-Island. Make it in advance and save it for the next couple days!

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp dill pickle relish
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp white vinegar
  • Kosher salt to taste

Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Chill in the fridge till ready to use! (see tip below)
  • EXPIRATION -- I made my mayonnaise and pickles from scratch, so I recommend using the spread within 3 days. If you make it from storebought, I expect it'll keep up to a week!
