Protein never tasted so delicious, or seasonal! These protein bites are a festive treat that can be enjoyed for breakfast, as a snack, or dessert. Created with wholesome ingredients, this is a creative way to add more protein to your diet and simultaneously satisfy a sweet tooth.
If you are following a vegan diet, you are welcome to customize. Here are a few ideas:
Vegan:
- Use vegan chocolate chips
- Omit honey, or try with maple syrup
- Use a vegan-friendly protein powder
Additional substitutions:
- Any nut or seed butter in place of the almond butter
- Hemp seed or whole flax seeds in place of sunflower seeds
