Crockpot Christmas Peanut Clusters

We are in full-on holiday mode over here! Like most, I absolutely love this time over year, starting right after Halloween until the New Year. All the lights, special music, fun food, parties, concerts, family traditions and more. I'm here for all of it! Not to mention, cozy time at home in my jammies with a Christmas movie on in the background. Let's be honest, THAT'S my favorite. And like any good food blogger I've been working on holiday food long before this time of year hit. So many of you are loving my Sheet Pan Turkey Dinner that I showcased a few weeks back, thank you! It's a great one to pass on to friends and family who are hosting a smaller feast.
One of the first holiday sweet treats I wanted to share this year are these Crockpot Christmas Peanut Clusters. I've made them so many times over the years, but I've never shared them! They are incredibly easy and the crockpot does half of the work. Plus, they freeze beautifully! So they are a treat you can make now, tuck them away in the freezer and pull out when you need them later in December. And did you see my new 9x13 crockpot? I AM TOTALLY IN LOVE. It not only worked great for this holiday candy, it also works great for casseroles and side dishes. Just last night I made my Baked White Spaghetti in it! But really, any old crockpot will do.
After a mix of ingredients and a little bit of melting, these clusters come together really quick. All you need is some parchment paper (for easy clean up), a spoon and some Christmas sprinkles! This batch makes 36 peanut clusters. The combo of salty peanuts and smooth chocolate and peanut butter really make for the best holiday treat. You do know my page is called sweet and savory, right? Who is ready to make these and get a batch in the freezer? I always try and do stuff ahead of time (when given the chance), as we all know how crazy the holiday shuffle can be. Peanut Clusters are a classic. If you put them on a cookie tray I would say not one adult will pass them by. They are a bit nostalgic, don't you think? I left a few on a tray when the kids came home from school - and well, they were devoured quickly after a bit of confusion as to why I was making holiday candy just after Halloween. But they are used to their Mother's antics.
Grab the ingredients now so you can make these this December! They are all pantry staples so no need to worry about them going bad. And of course Christmas sprinkles are all over grocery store shelves right now, so no need hunting those down. Crockpot Christmas Peanut Clusters
- 22 oz salted peanuts
- 10 oz peanut butter chips
- 10 oz white chocolate chips
- 16 oz chocolate chips
- Grease a crockpot and place all of the ingredients into the slow cooker.
- Set to LOW and stir after 1 hour.
- Put the lid back on and allow for 30 minutes more melting time (if needed).
- Once all is melted and combined, drop by the spoonful (or use a cookie scoop) onto parchment paper and top with Christmas sprinkles while still warm.
- Allow the peanut clusters to harden (about 30 minutes).
- Serve fresh or place in parchment paper lined Tupperware and freeze for up to 2 months.
