I have created another amazing pumpkin recipe to share with you all! I wanted to take my banana muffin recipe that I always bake, and turn them into a more “fall” tasting recipe. Fall baking is the best, after all! Although I would totally eat these muffins year round. To make them have that autumn flavor, I added pumpkin purée, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves and made a beautiful creation. These pumpkin spice banana muffins are soft, moist, and have all of the right flavors. I topped them with a maple cream cheese frosting which is not required, but highly recommended!

Can I use a sweet potato instead of pumpkin?

I think sweet potato would be fabulous and you could cut the sugar by half because sweet potatoes have natural sweetness.
