Ever thought of coffee being nutritious and fibrous? Well, add pumpkin to the mix and you might get that, and when you add a few more ingredients, you'll end up with the pumpkin spice mocha smoothie!

The ratios aren't fixed, so if you'd prefer something less thick, go ahead and add more milk or coffee. You can also add more spices if you'd prefer something with more of a hit.

You can replace cow milk with vegan options like oat or almond milk.

Depending on your coffee, you can potentially get a drink with a slight tang, which balances the drink wonderfully, but if you'd prefer no sourness, choose coffee that matches that.

  • 300grams or 1 cup steamed pumpkin (may use canned pumpkin)
  • ¼ cup or 60 ml strong coffee
  • ¾ cup or 185 ml fresh milk
  • ½ tsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp pumpkin spice
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • ½ tsp hempseed
  • ¼ cup ice (5 cubes)
  • extra ½ tsp hempseed for garnish

Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth and even in colour. Garnish with hempseed.
