This delicious smoothie is a great way to start your morning. Fresh peach slices are blended with frozen blueberries, almond milk and strawberry protein powder for a sweet, fresh nutritious smoothie that’s full of fiber.

Blueberries are considered a superfood and are one of the healthiest foods you can eat. 100grams of blue berries has 65 calories and 15 grams of carbohydrates. Almond milk is a great alternative to cows milk. It’s lower in calories and has tons of vitamin e.

Ingredients:

1 medium peach

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 cup almond milk

1 scoop strawberry protein powder.

Slice the peach into small pieces. You should have about 8-10oz. One peach has about 68 calories, 2 grams of fiber and 1.3 grams of protein. Peaches have lots of fiber and combined with the fiber in the blueberries it can help to really fill you up.

Add the peach slices and the rest of the ingredients into the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a cup. I prefer to use frozen blueberries because they are cheaper and available all year long. Plus they help make the smoothie and nice thick, cold texture.

Serve immediately. Feel free to swap the almond milk for cows milk or any other type of milk. You can try different flavors of protein powder like vanilla or chocolate.
