Pineapple Mango Smoothie

Pineapple and mango are just perfection in a smoothie! With the weather getting warmer, I’ve been getting back into smoothie bowls and trying new variations. This time, I incorporated organic pineapple juice into my smoothie instead of nut milk and it turned out great! This refreshing drink is full of healthy nutrients and is a great source of energy with healthy carbs from fruits! Additionally, feel free to adapt the recipe by adding protein powder as I did, or some of your other favourite fruits. For a pina colada twist, add in some coconut milk or water. Ingredients


  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/3 cup frozen mangoes
  • 1/2 to 1 full frozen banana (add less if you do not want a thick smoothie)
  • 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)

Instructions


Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy!
