Mornings in my house can be such a whirlwind. Between getting myself ready to get out the door, wrangling toddlers into their winter gear, lunches and the's a busy time! I'm always looking for a healthy and nutritious breakfast ideas that are not only simple to whip up but also keep me going all morning long. Having a high protein breakfast is super important but also has to taste great. Enter one of my most favourite smoothie recipes!

This chocolate peanut butter banana protein smooth is so incredibly delicious! Every time I make it, I have to convince my husband that it is actually healthy and full of hearty ingredients. It is super fudgy and rich and tastes JUST like a peanut butter cup - YUM!

  • 4 large frozen bananas (about 1.5 cups)
  • 2 heaping Tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 cup milk of your choice

Place all of the ingredients listed above in your blender.
Place lid on top and blend until desired consistency, about 1-2 minutes.
Pour into glasses and serve cold. Enjoy!
