Strawberry Hot Chocolate is certainly a delicious and gorgeous way to express your love this valentine's day. I love the combination of white chocolate and strawberries so I made my favorite drink using them both.


Hot chocolate is always the great option to warm you up on chilly winter days. Add this fun and flavorful twist to your favorite hot chocolate drink.


Make this Pretty pink and easy drink for your kids. it doesn't have any artificial flavors or doesn't require much time to cook.


I topped it with some whipped cream and heart shaped sprinkles. You can top with cocoa powder, shaved white chocolates or dried rose petals.

Ingredients


  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 4-5 Strawberries
  • 1/8 cup White Chocolate Chips/Chunks
  • 1-2 tbsp Sugar
  • Few Drops Vanilla Extract
  • Whipped Cream(Optional)
  • Red/Pink Food Color( Optional)
  • sprinkles(Optional)

Instructions


First in a sauce pan add washed and chopped strawberries.
Add the sugar to it and let it cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. When strawberries turn soft get the pan off the stove.
Add this cooked strawberries to a blender jar and make puree.
Heat a cup of milk in microwave or on stove top . Make sure you don't boil the milk. Otherwise milk might get curdled when you add the strawberry puree.
Add white chocolate chunks and vanilla extract to the warm milk and mix well until chocolate has melted.
Then in a cup add strawberry puree and white chocolate milk and mix well. You can use hand blender/milk frother to mix the milk and strawberry puree.
If you want darker shade add few drops of red/pink food color.
Top with some whipped cream and your favorite topping. Enjoy!

Tips

  • Most important thing to prepare this is to make sure you don't boil your milk before adding strawberries. Otherwise milk might curdle when you add the strawberry puree.
  • If you want darker shade then add few drops of pink/red food color. Blend the strawberry puree into milk using a milk frother/ blender to give hot chocolate creamier and smoother texture.
