Peanut Butter Energy Balls

These delicious peanut butter energy balls are a great snacking option. Peanut butter energy balls are also great for busy mornings on the go!

If you need a great snack that is good for a healthy diet and perfectly portable you need to try these energy balls. They’re made with peanut butter which means they taste great and are packed with protein.

You can mix this recipe up and add in your favorite mix-in’s as well. It’s an awesome recipe for your busy lifestyle. These can be prepped in advance so you can just grab them when you need a little boost.

  • 1 ½ cup quick oats
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Add oats to a large bowl.
Add the rest of the ingredients on top of the oats.
Stir ingredients well with a large spoon.
Refrigerate mixture for about an hour to make it easier to form your balls.
Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, gather some mixture and form into one inch balls.
Set balls on the parchment lined cookie sheet, and freeze for 2 hours.
Place energy bites into a freezer bag and store in the refrigerator for up to a week, or in the freezer for 3+ months.

    I am a not a creamy peanut butter guy I like mine has chunky does it matter if I use chunky peanut butter instead

      According to info on another website for this same recipe , serving size is one ball and calorie count is 80 per ball.
