Summer Rosé Sangria

Quench your thirst and celebrate summer with some Summer Rosé Sangria, as easy to mix as it is to drink!

This is an easy beverage for summer sipping and serving, adjusting the flavors and fruit to your palate, party, and guests! It only takes five minutes to assemble in a large pitcher. You can mix it an hour to two in advance of serving.

You’ll need 2 – 3 cups fruit, sliced, for this batch of sangria. (I used strawberries, oranges, apples, and blackberries)

In addition to your fruit you’ll need:

  • 1 750ml bottle of Rosé
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup, regular or citrus-flavored vodka
  • 16 oz. of lemon-lime soda (regular or diet)

This is a very forgiving recipe, adjusting to your taste and using the fruit of your choice. I’ve mixed it with lemon/lime soda, ginger ale, and lemon-lime seltzer. You can also mix up a refreshing mocktail version using lemonade, soda and pomegranate juice.

Method:

  • Slice fruit and add to a large pitcher.
  • Add wine, juice and vodka. Refrigerate until serving, 1 – 2 hours or up to 24 hours. (Berries look & taste best if served within 1 to 2 hours).

Just before serving, add chilled lemon-lime soda to your pitcher and mix well. Fill glasses half full with ice, add sangria and fruit.
