This is the perfect spooky cocktail for your Halloween celebration... or to be honest, any celebration at all! It uses blueberries and blackberries (hence the Black and Blue), but with its dark color, it just doesn't scream summer berries to me! The berries are muddled with vodka, lime juice, honey and fresh mint, then layered with ice and topped with ginger beer. Rim your glass first with lime juice and some black salt for a festive cocktail. Then garnish with a cocktail pick of more fresh berries and mint leaves. Add in some dry ice if you dare! This drink is dangerously good!!! You can do this!

Instructions

Rim the edge of glass (or just one side as shown here) with lime juice, and dunk in black salt for a spooky cocktail!
In a separate container, muddle the berries, mint, lime, honey and vodka together.
In the serving glass, layer spoonfuls of the muddled berries with ice cubes, pour in all the liquid, then top off with ginger beer.
Using a cocktail pick, skewer extra berries and mint leaves and place in glass.
