Stuffed Peppers With Ground Turkey and Rice
Who doesn't love stuffed peppers? This is ZERO points on Weight Watchers!!! and delicious!
Start of with ground turkey in a bowl and mix with 1/2 chopped onion, 2 cloves of chopped garlic, salt to taste and a cup of cooked rice.
There are other ways to prepare this dish some of which involve uncooked rice and I do enjoy that way as well but it involves a much longer cooked process and between kids, work and keeping the house clean who has the time?!
Wash and core the peppers and let them dry on a towel.
Then stuff them with all the ingredients. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove the foil and cook for another 10 minutes uncovered.
I always like cooking with foil because it traps the heat, I think it cooks faster and tastes better!
I like to add taco sauce and sour cream!
