As we all know, croissant is a buttery, flaky, pastry and associated with France. Here I am giving a twist to it with amazing tempting bites with leftover boiled potatoes.

This is a quick snacks and to go recipe for a small get-together or just enjoy with tea/ coffee in the evening. If you don't want to use white potatoes, I would recommend sweet potatoes instead.

My hubby and I love such quick snacks and chill while watching TV When you try this, let me know how did you find it ?

  • 3 big size boiled & mashed potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Cut the mini croissant into half. I have used Mini, you can take the regular size Crossing as well.
For the filling, mix all the ingredients in a bowl - 3 big size boiled & mashed potatoes,1 teaspoon chaat masala,1 teaspoon jeera powder,1/2 teaspoon black salt, salt to taste,1 teaspoon lemon juice.
Mix everything well, use hand or with fork for a good blend of masalas with potatoes.
Now your filling is ready to add in to the mini croissant.
Use spoon to pick and place them on top of each cut croissant. Sprinkle Bhujiya and serve immediately!
  • Bhujiya-Purchased packet from Indian grocery store or any big grocery store (Spicy lemon flavored extruded snack made peas flour, edible vegetable oil, potato flakes), leave me a comment if you want to know the brand I used here.
