Some days you just crave steak. Am I right? 99% of the time, my husband and I cook steak on the weekends, but there are those random weeknights where I just want a juicy steak. By the time we get home from work, it is too much of a hassle to get out the grill so these garlic butter steak bites are my lifesaver. While the smashed potatoes take about an hour to make, most of it is hands off time. These steak bites though whip up in 10 minutes! Super quick, super easy and SUPER delicious!

I am using steak bites from Snake River Farms. They have all American wagyu. These bites were incredibly tender and juicy. Check them out here.

- 1 lb creamer potatoes
- 10 tbsp butter melted
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°. Place potatoes in a large pot of salted water. Boil until tender. Drain and let sit to dry for 5 minutes. Spread out on foil lined baking try. Smash with the bottom of a cup. - Ten minutes before the potatoes are done, make the steak. Season with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium high heat. Add in 2tbsp of oil. Once almost smoking, add steak and sear each side for 20-30 seconds until reaches a medium rare temp. Set aside on a plate to rest.
- While the steak is resting, combine 8 tbsp of melted butter and minced garlic in a pot. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
