I live in the midwest, so corn is a staple in the summer. I've always boiled it, which can take a long time by the time the water comes to a boil and boils for 10 minutes. I tried it in the air fryer, and I loved it!
Air fryer times vary widely between brands, so you'll have to determine the best time for your appliance. I recommend checking on it after 8 minutes.
If you like grilled corn, this makes a delicious grilled corn. If you like boiled corn, simply wrap the corn in foil to mimic that taste.
I prefer the air fryer method now because it's so much quicker. I also don't have to watch for the water to boil because I'm usually on the patio grilling while the corn cooks.
Air Fryer Corn on the Cob
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 2 Corn, husked and washed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic salt (optional)
Instructions
- Remove the husks and silk and wash the corn. Cut them in half if they do not fit in your air fryer.
- Brush melted butter on corn. You can also spray with olive oil, but I think the butter tastes better.
- Place the corn in the air fryer. Cook at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. I rotate them at 4 minutes.
- Remove from air fryer. Add butter, salt, pepper, and garlic to taste.
