How to Make Smores Trail Mix with Printable TagWe love snacks! We love them at home, on the road and pretty much anywhere we go. This one is a favorite for sure by my family and my Girl Scout troop. Because in all honesty, who doesn’t love the mix of sweet and salty all combined in one yummy handful of awesomeness. This could be adapted to gluten-free with a cereal swap but for this recipe, the cereal doesn’t work for me. I often make an extra batch on the side customized for my needs. Ingredients for S’Mores Snack Mix

  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Mini Pretzel Sticks
  • Cinnamon Crunch Cereal
  • Mild Duds or Whoppers Chocolate Candies (Or Both)
  • Peanuts (Optional)

Directions

The first step is to measure out your ingredients. The funny thing about this recipe is you can do whatever amounts you want really. If you like the chocolate the most, add more candy. If salty is your thing – put in more pretzels. The recipe and the end of this post tells you how we make it. for the most part. It is a great way to start and then adapt as you see fit.

Add the following to one big bowl.


  • 2 Cups Mini Pretzel Sticks
  • 2 C Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
  • 1 C Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 C Peanuts
  • 1 C Chocolate Candies

It is fun to put the mini marshmallows on the ends of the pretzel rods to look like little s’mores sticks ready to go into the fire.

Mix the ingredients up to make the trail mix.
