If you are like me and enjoy having a protein filled breakfast in the morning, this is the perfect recipe for you. This breakfast is easy to make, is quick, and is packed with flavours. The green onion adds a lot of flavour to the dish and makes it very refreshing. Sometimes I like to make this recipe when I am in the mood for breakfast for dinner too! You can add ham, spinach, and red bell peppers to the recipe too to add more veggies and protein. Maybe even some jalapeños for a kick! I hope you enjoy this meal!
Green Onion and Kale Omlette

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- Splash of milk
- Handful of frozen chopped up kale
- 2 tablespoons of chopped green onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
- In a non stick pan heat up some olive oil on medium heat
- In a bowl whisk 2 eggs, add a splash of milk and mix together
- Add two tablespoons of chopped up green onion and a handful of chopped kale to the bowl and mix together. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Pour the omelette mixture into the pan, and stir gently to cook throughout
- Once the omelette looks cooked and fluffy, put it in a bowl, top with a teaspoon of hemp seeds and serve. Add hot sauce too like me, if you want an extra kick!
