Sautée bacon and onions in a little olive oil until the onions are translucent. This will give your soup a Smokey flavor.
Place all the corn, milk, frozen hash browns, canned soup, frozen chicken breasts, and spices into the crockpot. Add the sautéed bacon and onions and stir. Cook in crockpot on low 6 hours.
Just before serving remove the chicken breasts. Shred the chicken by using two forks. Add the shredded chicken back into the crockpot.
Serve with shredded cheese if desired.
There is no cream or cheese in this soup and yet it is so creamy and rich!
I recently made an amazing creamed vegetable soup the other day that everyone raved about and it’s on the blog.

The directions call for frozen onions but it is not included in the ingredients. Could it be half the frozen hash browns?
I used more bacon because I needed to cook it but it was fine. The recipe is great! Will definitely make
it again!
