Hearty, healthy and full of flavor. This soup Is easy and quick to make, it requires few ingredients that’s we all have in our kitchen. The Curcuma spice, is a super food which we don’t know exactly how to include it in our recipes. However, the CCC soup is a yummy way to enjoy the curcuma and get advantage of its miracle benefits.

This soup in rooted in an exotic place called Fes city in Morocco. Way back in the centuries, this cities was a crossroad of European, middle eastern and Jewish cultures. Many amazing dishes were the fruit of this peaceful cohabitation. And today, I’m sharing a soup of this amazing city.

Tasty and flavored but yet not to spicy for people who doesn’t tolerate spices.

Ingredients
Soup ingredients
  • 1/2 pound chicken
  • 1/2 cup chickpeas (soaked or canned)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp rice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp curcuma (known as Tumeric also)
  • 1 tbsp aged butter
  • Bunch of parsley
  • 3 cups of water
Instructions
Making soup
In a medium pot . Stir the onion into the butter until getting gold color . Add chicken an stir fry . Add spices And water . After it starts boiling add the chickpeas and rice . After 40 minutes the soup should be done then add the aged butter and the parsley Leave it for 5 min more and serve while hot.
Tips
  • For crispy chicken, remove the chicken and stir fry in a pan. Add it when serving.
