The BEST Daily Salad You Will Ever Have

My mom makes this salad, basically every day and EVERYONE loves it. I cannot tell you how many people have asked her for the recipe including my self. And its pretty simple, but somehow she is an absolute Boss when it comes to the proportions that she never really measures. This time I observed heavily in order to share the ingredients and recreate!

Basically, all it is is romaine lettuce, tomato, sweet peppers, onion and cucumber.

She also uses a lot of herbs.

Wash and slice everything on the smaller side.

Then add a teaspoon of salt.

Then a table spoon of balsamic vinegar, another table spoon of apple cider vinegar, and one more of grapeseed oil. You can use olive oil too but she said the grapeseed oil has a better taste and like I said, she's perfected this over a decade if not longer!

Mix it all together for an amazing healthy daily appetizer that everyone loves.

It might seem simple enough but I cannot tell you how many complements she gets on this salad constantly.

  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1/2 English cucumber
  • herbs - cilantro, parsley, chives, scallions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp grape seed oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

finely chop all the vegetable and place in a large bowl
add the salt, vinegar and oil right on top
mix it all together
