Sour Dough Discard Crepes
I am a big fan of savory and sweet crepes and I am always looking for sour dough discard recipes since I started my sour dough making journey! (I am still perfecting my bread before I share that receipe with you all as well!)
Start with 4 eggs and beat.
Add 1/2 a cup of sour dough discard.
Add 1/2 a cup of milk.
I like adding a lot of cinnamon and a pinch of salt. The batter should be liquid unlike pancake batter.
using a large pot, melt 1/4 stick of butter in the pan for greasing, then pour the excess into the batter. Then pour the batter right into the middle (about 1/3 cup) and pick the pan up to have it drip to the side and rotate in a circular motion until the bottom is covered.
When the sides start lifting, that's when you know its ready to flip.
Fry on either side for about 2 minutes. You will want to stay close since these cook fast!
I like mine with nutella, jam, berries, sour cream... the list can go on and on! But you really can't go wrong.
