What are Danish?

A danish pastry is a type of pastry that is made from dough that is folded over a fruit topping, then rolled into a spiral and baked.

Homemade danish are really easy to make, and there are endless possibilities for fillings. A few of my favorites include:

-A teaspoon jam or preserves (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry)

-Cream cheese and jam or preserves

-Nutella or peanut butter and jelly

-Different fruits like Apple Pie Filling or pear filling with cinnamon and sugar

-Cheesecake filling (cream cheese filling, sugar, vanilla extract) makes a cream cheese danish

-A sweet cherry pie filling for an air fryer cherry danish or make blueberry danish.
