For Memorial Day weekend I decided to make some themed snacks. It was pretty easy all I needed was chexmix, pretzels, M&M (red white and blue colored) and a few melted marshmallows.

I put a cup of M&Ms, q a cup of pretzels and a cup of checks mix cereal into a bowl then melted 2 marshmallows in the microwave for 10 seconds and mixed it all together. Don't go overboard with the marshmallows, I made this mistake initially. I had to add more of the other group ingredients to balance it all out otherwise it becomes too sticky.

Fun, easy patriotic snack 😋

The other thing I made was the pretzels that I've made before, this time I used the Hershey red white and blue special edition white chocolate.

I melted in the microwave at 10 second increments and stirred with a spoon then dipped pretzel rods and put on a baking sheet to dry.

I will say this didn't come out as good as the ones I usually make because I assumed chocolate was chocolate but the meltable chocolate I usually use has a better consistency and was thicker when dipping the pretzel rods. In the future I'll probably just use the meltable chocolate and then add red white and blue sprinkles. Maybe for July 4th!
