This Red, White and Blue Bundt Cake is easy to make and tastes great. It is very moist and a fun dessert for the Fourth of July. The extra ingredients added to the cake mix make it super moist and delicious. Add the jimmies at the end of the mixing and fold them in carefully so the colors do not begin to color your cake batter. After it has baked and has cooled completely, cover it in the cream cheese frosting and decorated it with cute star sprinkles. Another fun idea for this cake recipe is...make it for someone's birthday. Just change the jimmies to the favorite colors of the one having the birthday. Use sprinkles on top to match their likes and personality. There are so many different sprinkles available-so fun! Check out some of our other dessert recipes. 💕

  • 1 Betty Crocker Super Moist white cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cup water-according to cake mix
  • 1/3 cup oil-according to cake mix
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 3.3 ounce box White Chocolate Instant Pudding
  • 1.75 ounces red, white and blue jimmies
Frosting Ingredients:
  • 5 ounces vanilla almond bark
  • 2 tbsp butter softened
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • red and blue star sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
Cake Instructions:
Combine all ingredients for the cake except for the jimmies. When the cake is mixed, carefully stir in red, white and blue jimmies. Do not stir too much or the colors will begin to color the cake batter.
Grease and flour a bundt cake pan. Pour cake batter into the pan. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes. Do not over bake. Use the toothpick test. Ovens can vary.
Let cool on a cooling rack for 10 minutes. When cooled, invert cake onto cake plate.
Frosting Instructions:
Melt vanilla almond bark slowly in the microwave stirring every 10 seconds. When bark is nearly melted, continue stirring until completely melted.
Next, mix in the softened butter and allow time to cool a bit.
Then, add cream, cream cheese and vanilla. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
Then, add powdered sugar. Mix again until smooth and creamy.
When ready to frost the bundt cake, microwave the frosting for 10-12 seconds. Stir and then pour frosting on top of the cake, allowing some to drip down the sides.
Decorate with the red and blue star sprinkles.
