Caramel Apple Dip

This caramel apple dip is not your typical caramel it is only four ingredients. But it really does taste like caramel just not a warm caramel dip. It is extremely easy to make and is great for an after school snack. My granchildren gave it their approval too. You can serve it also with other fruits we tried some bananas and it tasted wonderful. I whipped the cream cheese up first until it was really soft and creamy, also make sure to set it out to get it softened ahead of time. Then I added in the brown sugar and confectioners sugar and creamed that all together. After that I added in the vanilla extract and mixed it up until it was like a whipped cream cheese mixture. It is best to let it set in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to let all the ingredients come together. I cut up some Cosmic apples because they are sweet and tart at the same time and tasted wonderful with the dip. I also made a batch and added some cinnamon and that gave it a wonderful extra taste as well.

Here are the apples and the dip together.

Here are the ingredients I started with.

Whipping the cream cheese and the the sugars together.

Adding in the vanilla extract.

I cut my apples up into slices for easier dipping.

Yummy!!! So good and easy.
