Chocolate Ricotta Mousse

Impress your guests and satisfy your inner chocoholic with this easy to make dessert!
Only 4 Ingredients are needed to satisfy your inner chocoholic! This recipe comes together in less than 10 minutes, followed by several hours of chilling time in the refrigerator for the flavors to meld. For best flavor, refrigerate overnight.
Here are the ingredients needed:
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 4 oz. of chocolate, dark, milk or semi-sweet
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Melt your chocolate using your preferred method. Blend everything together in the food processor for about 30 seconds, then chill in refrigerator several hours to overnight.
Serve with whipped cream, slivered almonds additional shaved chocolate and a pirouline wafer cookie if desired. Note: This is a no-bake recipe so cooking time noted below is actually chill time in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
- 4 oz. of chocolate, chopped (dark, milk or semi-sweet)
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Melt 4 oz. of chocolate (dark, milk or semi-sweet) using your preferred method, in a double boiler over hot water or in the microwave.
- If using the microwave, break into small pieces and heat chocolate at 50 percent power for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and stir, returning to microwave and repeat, stirring every 20 seconds to avoid scorching. When only small bits of chocolate remain, remove and continue to stir until completely melted.
- Add 2 cups ricotta cheese, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and melted chocolate to a food processor.
- Blend everything together in the processor for about 30 seconds. Chill in refrigerator several hours for flavors to meld or overnight for best flavor.
- Serve in individual glasses with whipped cream, slivered almonds, additional shaved chocolate and a pirouline wafer cookie if desired.
