Holiday treats are a great gift idea. But they can get expensive if you're buying them at a chocolate shop and need to purchase lots of treats for lots of people. So making holiday themed treats at home is a great way to save some money.

If it's Valentine's Day, and you're looking for a Valentine's Day treat to make instead of buy, these Chocolate Covered Pretzels are a great idea.

They're pretty simple to make and you can make a bunch of them at once. This recipe makes three dozen chocolate covered pretzels, but you can double or triple it if you need to make more.

Ingredients

  • Vanilla almond bark
  • Pretzel twists
  • Valentine’s Day sprinkles
  • Red candy melts
Instructions

Melt the vanilla almond bark.
Dip a pretzel into it. Take it out. Set it on a cookie sheet.
Keep going until you dipped all the pretzels.
If you wanted to ONLY add sprinkles, do that as soon as you take lay the pretzels on the cookie sheet.
If you wanted to add some red lines, melt red candy melts and put them in a piping bag to pipe lines across the pretzels after they've cooled.
You can also add sprinkles to these ones too, on top of the red candy melts. You'll want to pipe some lines, add some sprinkles, and then move onto some more so that the red lines don't harden before you get the sprinkles on.
