    Recipe details
    • 6  Servings
    • Prep time: 15 Minutes Cook time: 20 Minutes Total time: 35 min

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkg puff pastry
    • 1 c Jam, whatever flavor you choose
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1 c Powdered sugar
    • 1 T water
    Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Lay out puff pastry, roll out to desired depth.
    Slice puff pastry into rectangles.
    Add jam to every other rectangle. Be sure to keep the jam in the middle of the rectangle, so that it doesn't squeeze out.
    Mix the beaten eggs with 1 T. water and beat well. Using your finger, dip into egg mixture and paint the egg mixture along the edges.
    Top each rectangle with another puff pastry rectangle without jam.
    Using a fork, pinch the edges to seal the popover.
    Bring top of popover with egg mixture.
    Bake for 20 mins, or until golden brown.
    While popovers are cooling, mix powdered sugar with water. Mix well,
    Drizzle powdered sugar glaze over popover.
    Enjoy!
