With nut allergies being so common, is there a substitute that is easily found in grocery stores for the peanut butter in this recipe?

I have a really bad peanut and tree nut allergy and I use a product called WowButter! It’s made from soybeans and it is absolutely amazing. I am allergic to sunflower seeds as well so Sunbutter is not an option for me. You can get Wowbutter at Walmart or you can find it in the health food section of most other grocery stores, they even sell it on Amazon.

Is there a GF alternative for the melting wafers - I would love to make this recipe for my husband who needs to avoid wheat.
