Creating adorable and delicious cookies for the holiday season has never been easier. This is a fabulous cookie recipe to make either for a party or at it as crafty activity.

Because there is NO BAKING required, these sweet treats come together super fast – which is perfect for littles with short attention spans. Because both Graham crackers and pretzels can now be purchased gluten-free, these could work for special dietary needs too which is a total win. Let’s whip up some easy Christmas cookies for kids to make that look just like reindeer.

Ingredients Needed

Directions for Cookie Making

These are truly the easiest cookie to make – ever. The truth be told, there aren’t any real directions at all. Simply use the frosting to add the pretzels for antlers, the candy for a nose and the eyes to the Graham cracker. The cracker can be done as a whole one with larger pretzels too – or broken apart into pieces for these smaller sized ones.

PRO TIP 1 – Apply all of the icing at once – THEN add the pieces.

It is easier and less messy when the icing is all added first.

PRO TIP 2 – Put icing in baggies and snip the corners when ready to use. This way every kid gets a bag!

PRO TIP 3 – Use plain crackers to hold the pretzels in place while the icing hardens.

The royal icing will harden in about 20 minutes or so. Then the cookies are pretty sturdy and can be boxed up to give as gifts or send home with kiddos.

If you love these cute reindeer sweet treats, you might also want to try the chocolate covered Oreo version. Grab all of those deets here on the blog too. They are GLUTEN FREE Christmas cookies!
