Protein Cinnamon Pancakes

My husband requires a lot of protein because of his cancer treatments, I came up with this recipe to help keep him full until lunch, you can use any brand of protein power depending on how much of the protein powder your planing on using. I use muscle milk vanilla flavor and because of this I do not use vanilla extract. First I sift the self rising flower and protein powder together then after that, I add three eggs, cinnamon and melted butter then I add milk. Next I pre heat a sprayed cast iron pan then I add melted butter to that to give the pancakes a amazing flavor then I pour a half cup of batter into pan and cook until bubbly then flip and cook until golden.

Serve with maple syrup and butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups self rising flower
  • 3 scoops of protein powder (any brand)
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 Table spoons of melted butter
  • 1/2 to 2 cups of milk.

Pre-heat a sprayed skillet
sift together flower and protein powder. Then add eggs, cinnamon and butter.
Stir to combined
add milk until soft batter preforms.
cook on pre heated buttered skillet until golden
and serve with syrup and butter
