How to make the Champagne Cupcakes Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup room temperature butter
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup champagne
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 3 tablespoons of champagne

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.

Add in vanilla and milk, mix. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in between. Stir in the 1/2 cup of champagne.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.

Slowly add flour mixture to the champagne mixture, mixing well on low speed in between each addition. Increase speed until your cupcake batter is fully incorporated, making sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Divide batter into the muffin cups, about 2/3’rds full.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until cupcakes begin to turn golden brown.

Allow the champagne cupcakes to cool before frosting.

How to Make the Delicious Champagne Buttercream Frosting

Top your beautiful cupcakes with sprinkles.
