Chocolate Cookie Basketballs
We've all made chocolate cookie balls, but why not theme them up and create delicious chocolate basketballs?
They're so tasty and a great treat for basketball themed birthday parties, or just fun for the kids to make!

The chocolate balls recipe makes between 2 and 3 dozen chocolate balls, so there will be plenty to go around!
What occasion are you celebrating with these little basketball bites and a salty + sweet combination?
These are really easy to whip up.
1) Crush up chocolate sandwich cookies, add cream cheese and mix.
2) Dunk the balls in melted chocolate and chill them in the refrigerator.
3) Decorate with an edible food marker.

Ingredients
- 16 oz of chocolate sandwich cookies
- 16 oz of vanilla flavored orange colored candy melts
- 8 oz of softened cream cheese
Instructions
- Crush your cookies with a mallet, your hands or make it easy and run them through the blender until well crushed
- Combine crushed cookies and cream cheese in a mixing bowl until well incorporated
- Shape into 1/2 inch to 1 inch balls, store on parchment paper and put in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes
- After chilling the balls for 20-30 minutes, melt the candy melts as directed on the package
- Roll the balls around in the chocolate until covered, return to parchment paper
- Decorate with food safe, edible marker
- You can make up to three dozen of these, depending on the size of your chocolate balls!
