Chamomile, Banana, Kiwi and Almond Smoothie

Looking to have a peaceful start to your morning? This chamomile tea smoothie will leave you nourished and calm.


The kiwi in the smoothie feels like an extension of the banana, helping to balance out the creamy, thickness from the banana, oat milk, and almond butter.

The milk can be swapped out for almond or even cow milk if preferred. I enjoy oat and almond milk the most.


You can skip the maple syrup altogether if you'd like, or substitute honey in its place, but the caramel notes of maple syrups definitely adds to the drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 chopped frozen kiwi
  • 1 chopped frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • ¼ cup oat milk
  • 50ml cooled Chamomile tea
Instructions

In a blender, add the frozen banana, kiwi oat milk, maple syrup and almond butter. Turn on the blender and blend it for about two minutes.
Pour in the chamomile tea, blend it for another minute until it all blended together.
Taste and adjust the sweetness, add more maple syrup if needed.
Garnish with sliced kiwi on top
