Welcome to this month’s Pinterest Challenge hosted by Cindy and her blog County Road 407. Cindy’s inspiration is all about peach recipes for this month’s challenge. July is the month for peaches atfarmers’ markets and grocery stores.
In Colorado, we are lucky enough to get our peaches from Palisade, Colorado. With hot days and cool nights, the Colorado climate is perfect for peaches.

The same day that Cindy sent our Pinterest Challenge theme I got an email from Country Living with dozens of peach-based recipes. Because I had just made (and ate) an apple cake over the weekend I decided to go with a raspberry and peach lemonade recipe.
This easy peasy peach lemonade recipe is packed with fresh raspberries, peaches and agave honey!
The hardest part of this month’s challenge was not eating the sliced peaches needed for this raspberry peach lemonade recipe!
The raspberries add a little tart to the peach.

RASPBERRY PEACH LEMONADE RECIPE
When I scanned the Country Living’s list of peach recipes my eyes landed on this peach lemonade recipe.
The ingredient list is short and sweet. Fresh raspberries and peaches is what I call the base!
INGREDIENTS
- 6 ounces raspberries (small tray size)
- 3-4 medium peaches, sliced not peeled
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (I used freshly squeezed and bottled lemon juice)
- topped off with a sprig of mint
With a short ingredient list my first thought was what’s the catch? If you are a frequent visitor here at Everyday Edits you know my recipes go sideways.
This recipe could not have gone any smoother.
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and agave nectar over medium heat until the agave dissolves (about a minute).
- Add raspberries and peaches.
- Simmer, and stir occasionally until raspberries break down ( 5 minutes).
- Pour mixture in a blender or Nutra Bullet. Strain if too chunky. My bullet blender pureed the mixture.
- In a large pitcher, mix the raspberry-peach mixture with lemon juice and 5 cups of water. Chill.
It is creamy delicious with fresh ice and a spring of mint!
