The Best Watermelon Juice

I had a watermelon juice at a restaurant and thought it was amazing so I went home to try to recreate it. This one is even better! It tastes so refreshing and is the perfect treat on a hot summer day. I live in Florida so it is getting to the 100s this week- I made this and my husband and I drank the entire thing in 1 day!


This juice is plenty sweet and is no sugar added- just the natural sweetness of fruits.


I do not own a juicer but I'm sure you can make this with a juicer and it would be easier

It makes a full containers worth but can get foamy at the top as you can see here - perfect solution is to strain it

Ingredients
The Best Watermelon Juice
  • 2 cups watermelon, chopped
  • 1 cup pineapple, chopped (can be frozen)
  • 2 tbsp mint leaves
  • 1 tsp lime juice
Instructions
The Best Watermelon Juice
Blend all ingredients into blender
Once blended, pour into medium pot over low heat
Slightly heat, melting the smoothie into a juice, stirring constantly
Once melted, pour mixture into a container using a cheese cloth or strainer
Place in fridge and drink when cooled or pour over ice
Tips
  • I do not own a juicer but I'm sure you can make this with a juicer and it would be easier
  • This recipe doesn't need any added sweetener but if it tastes too sour omit the lime
